Clarins Cleansing Milk with Alpine Herbs Review

Growing up my Mother had a mantra: Cleanse, tone, moisturize and stay out of the sun. A good cleanser is the foundation of your daily beauty regimen. I have been using Keihl's Washable Cleansing milk with only satisfactory results and ready to see if I can find a product that will wow me.

Wow! Enter Clarins Cleansing Milk with Alpine Herbs. The first thing I noticed was the incredible fragrance of the sublime lotion.  Not a heavily perfumed flagrance but a light and flowery smell that was very soothing. Next the color...a very pretty aqua tint. Texture...rich and creamy.

Clarins recommends the following method for cleansing that removes pollution from pores:

  • Warm the product in your hands.
  • Apply to face without pressure
  • Suction out with hands (place palms on skin and create suction while pulling hands away)
  • Repeat 7 times per area on face
  • Repeat 5 times on neck
  • Remove with a soft cloth
I could really feel the effects of the suction and almost  a massaging effect. My skin was incredibly soft. I did rinse with cool water to remove the residue and then followed with toner.

I am impressed with the product and will continue to use it and will post a follow up. For now, my skin is glowing in a way that it had not before.
